This is a six week course with sessions running 7:30-9:30pm on the following Wednesdays:
March 5, 12, 19, 26, April 2, 9.
Classes are for students aged 18+
Prerequisite: Improv 101 (formerly Intro to Improv Part 1), or the recommendation of a Calgary Improv School instructor. Ask Devin if you have questions about your level.
Continue building on what you learned in Improv 101, and wade into spontaneous agreement, character, and stage skills.
Instructor: Francis Taman
A graduate of Mount Royal University and the Kinkonauts’ Conservatory Programs, Francis’s improv journey began as a teacher in rural Alberta with a copy of Keith Johnstone’s Impro and a burning desire to do improv. In the intervening years, Francis has lectured and taught legal, improv and communication skills in Canada, the United States and Australia. He is currently completing his Master’s of Education in Adult Education where his thesis is focused on the use of improv to reduce public speaking anxiety.
